Job Overview:
The Senior Paid Social Specialist is responsible for the implementation, management, and optimization of social campaigns. Responsible for executing effective and innovative social media campaigns on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social platforms. The Senior Paid Social Specialist is expected to bring a data-driven approach to campaign management by consistently testing various targeting strategies and utilizing technology from strategic preferred marketing developers.
Key Responsibilities
(Other duties may be assigned as required.)
- Manage and monitor activation, pacing, and performance of paid social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Optimize campaign performance through consistent testing, audience segmentation, and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with the Director, Paid Social to review campaign progress, recommend enhancements, and ensure client KPIs are met.
- Create and deliver customized performance reports, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Develop strategic POVs and campaign recommendations for assigned accounts.
- Participate in new business efforts by contributing to research, platform strategy, and paid social expertise.
- Support implementation and evaluation of emerging platforms and tools in collaboration with leadership.
- Take the lead in education and mentorship efforts, and be a resource for media planners with strategy/audience data and changes in social platforms.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in paid social media or digital campaign management.
- At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience managing campaigns within an agency setting in Toronto is preferred.
- Proficient with social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
- Familiarity with campaign tracking pixels and third-party ad technology.
- Demonstrated ability to balance both brand and direct-response campaign strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-first mindset.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience in media planning or agency roles may be considered in lieu of formal education.
