Job description

We are opening a brand new Mr. Lube on 17th Ave in Calgary, Alberta and are looking for a Store Manager.

Position Overview

The Store Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of daily shop operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales performance, and developing a high-performing team. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance operations, customer engagement, and team management in a fast-paced service environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to meet service and performance standards.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and high-energy workplace culture.
  • Ensure service quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction at every stage of the visit.
  • Oversee all daily shop operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Mr. Lube policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels; order supplies as required.
  • Complete daily cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of management experience in automotive, retail, or service industries.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic automotive knowledge is an asset; training provided.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
