What You'll Do:

As a Permit Consultant, you'll be the first point of contact for heavy haul companies needing permits to move over dimensional loads. You'll handle calls, assess trip details, and manage the permit process from start to finish.

Responsibilities include:

• Take incoming client calls and gather trip and equipment information
• Determine required permits based on dimensions, weights, routes, and jurisdictions
• Apply for and obtain permits from provincial, state, and federal agencies
• Coordinate routing, escort requirements, and regulatory compliance
• Keep clients informed of timelines, restrictions, and approvals
• Maintain digital records of permits and trip files
• Work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, accuracy-focused environment

What You Bring:

• Experience in transportation, logistics, or permitting (preferred, but not required)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Confidence working independently with a high level of accuracy
• Familiarity with provincial and U.S. permitting systems is an asset
• Willingness to learn – we'll train the right candidate
