Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours
  • Participate in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Familiarity with serving techniques and customer service principles is a plus
