About The Role
As part of our commitment to building a modern, data-driven organization, we're expanding our Data Platform team and looking for a Senior Data Analyst with deep experience in semantic modeling, analytics, and enterprise reporting.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing high-quality semantic models, building scalable reports, and shaping how our teams interact with data. You will work closely with Data Engineering, business units, and other analysts to ensure data accuracy, governance, and adoption across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and refine dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Develop and manage semantic models, metric definitions, and documentation for enterprise reporting.
  • Validate data transformations and ensure alignment with certified business logic.
  • Coach business users and department analysts in Power BI best practices, performance optimization, and data literacy.
  • Partner with data stewards to align report logic with enterprise standards.
  • Manage and maintain data products in Microsoft Purview, ensuring consistency, governance, and discoverability.
  • Support the transition from legacy BI platforms by migrating or deprecating older Qlik assets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally:

  • With Data Engineering for gold-layer table readiness and model optimization.

  • With Finance, Operations, and Sales to ensure reporting adoption and accurate insights.
  • With other members of the Data Platform team for standardization and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications (technical And Core Competencies)

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and DAX and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Data modeling skills (star schema, semantic layers, metric layers)
  • Data manipulation and analysis experience and Python experience is an asset
  • Experience with data governance tools like Microsoft Purview or Collibra (asset)
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking and excellent communication and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to translate business requirements into structured analytical solutions and high attention to detail, quality, and documentation
  • Ability to coach, influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
