Essential Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, design drawings, sample parts, and other relevant technical information.
  • Perform tool proving and provide training related to both turning and non-turning operations.
  • Mount, align, and secure work-holders, workpieces, tool-holders, attachments, NC/CNC tapes & programs, and precision measuring devices.
  • Conduct precise dimension checks throughout the machining process.
  • Follow a general plan of operation, including blueprints, sketches, process sheets, operation sheets, and tool layout charts.

Profil Recherché

  • Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship, or an equivalent combination of at least four years of machining experience and/or industry training (eligible for Trade Certification).
  • Trade Certification required.
  • 4–5 years of experience as a Machinist, Tool & Die Maker, or Machining Tool Operator.
  • Previous work experience in the aerospace sector strongly preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Controlled Goods and Contract Security Clearances.
