Position Summary:

Join our team as a friendly and efficient Café Cashier You'll provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately, and help keep our café running smoothly. As the face of club hospitality, you'll create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our members and employees. We're looking for someone with a friendly demeanor, great interpersonal skills, and a dedication to offering top-notch service. We will provide you with cross-training to support the Kitchen team for backup coverage. If you're quick on your feet, adaptable, and ready to roll up your sleeves, we'd love to have you on our team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take orders courteously and promptly from guest and employees.
  • Process member charges and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform opening and closing tasks, including end of day cash out.
  • Prepare and serve both beverages and food items.
  • Work with team members to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the café.
  • Restock items and refill coffee machines as needed.
  • Assist with basic food production or other kitchen duties when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food handling certification and/or cooking skills is an asset.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Current work visa and SIN.
