Position Overview

As a Front Counter Team Member, you are often the first point of contact for our guests. Your role is to provide exceptional customer service, take accurate orders, prepare sandwiches and sides, and help maintain a clean, organized front-of-house environment. You'll work closely with the kitchen and management team to ensure smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet every guest with a warm, friendly attitude and ensure they feel welcomed.
  • Take orders accurately at the counter or POS system.
  • Prepare sandwiches, wraps, and sides according to Quik Chik standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and beverage station.
  • Assist teammates with food prep and kitchen support during busy periods.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Upsell promotional items and highlight current deals when appropriate.
  • Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions responsibly.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to keep service running smoothly.
  • Provide a great guest experience rooted in our local, community-oriented brand identity.

Qualifications

  • Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Food handling or restaurant experience is an asset (but not required).
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, or peak hours is an advantage.
