Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and expertly mixing drinks. This role involves engaging with guests, serving beverages responsibly, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with strong multitasking skills and a focus on food safety and responsible alcohol serving.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
  • Manage POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and billing using Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible alcohol service
  • Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashiering duties
  • Assist in food service when required, including serving food items to guests
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Prior restaurant or food industry experience preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
  • Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and hospitality best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
