Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong bartending skills, and be well-versed in food and beverage operations within various settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests while showcasing your expertise in beverage preparation, POS systems, and hospitality standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food handling and safety standards.
  • Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure seamless service during shifts.
  • Assist with food service.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and recognize signs of intoxication or potential safety issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Handle basic math calculations for bills, tips, and inventory counts accurately.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a bartender in environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, banquets, or catering is preferred.
  • Proficiency with POS systems.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to sales, retail math, and cash handling accurately.
  • Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or special events as needed; experience in nightclubs or banquet settings is a plus. Pay: $17.60 per hour
