Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient service flow to provide an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • Manage and train team members to ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
  • Interview and onboard new staff members, providing guidance on restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure adherence to hospitality standards, including guest interactions and complaint resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area while enforcing health regulations.
  • Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and leadership within the restaurant environment.
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and overall restaurant performance.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food industry operations.
  • Strong supervisory experience with team management capabilities.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Previous restaurant or hotel management experience preferred; barista or serving experience is a plus.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Skilled in interviewing potential team members and fostering a positive work environment.

Pay: $15.65-$18.00 per hour
