About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our QA team

Reporting to the QA Manager, the QA Specialist will have a chance to work with software developers and other departments directly and take on software life-cycle testing activities such as test plan writing, regression testing, defects identification and much more

How You Will Help

· Software life-cycle testing tasks such as requirement reviewing, test plan writing, regression testing, identifying defects and problems, log defects and producing clear defect reports for various Transit/Taxi products

· Analyzing software requirements and designs, and providing feedback on their testability

· Creating and executing test cases for functional testing of our software products

· Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects

· Working closely with our Customer Service department to reproduce customer issues

· Working with software developers to ensure defects are correctly identified, fixed and incorporated into product builds

· Assisting in DDS test automation activities

Must Haves

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

· Proven experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist or relevant role.

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required

· Good knowledge of QA concepts, processes, and methodologies

· Experience working on an Agile team

· Proficient in SQL

· Passionate about software quality

Nice-To-Have

· Understanding of REST APIs

· Experience with virtualization technologies with a focus on Microsoft Hyper-V

· Experience with Jira and Confluence

· Familiarity with Cloud hosting technologies, preferably AWS

· Experience working with transaction processing systems, web applications, mobile applications, and interactive Voice Response systems
