About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our QA team

Reporting to the QA Manager, the
QA Specialist
will have a chance to work with software developers and other departments directly and take on software life-cycle testing activities such as test plan writing, regression testing, defects identification and much more

How You Will Help

  • Software life-cycle testing tasks such as requirement reviewing, test plan writing, regression testing, identifying defects and problems, log defects and producing clear defect reports for various Transit/Taxi products
  • Analyzing software requirements and designs, and providing feedback on their testability
  • Creating and executing test cases for functional testing of our software products
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects
  • Working closely with our Customer Service department to reproduce customer issues
  • Working with software developers to ensure defects are correctly identified, fixed and incorporated into product builds
  • Assisting in DDS test automation activities

Must Haves

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist or relevant role.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Good knowledge of QA concepts, processes, and methodologies
  • Experience working on an Agile team
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Passionate about software quality

Nice-To-Have

  • Understanding of REST APIs
  • Experience with virtualization technologies with a focus on Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with Cloud hosting technologies, preferably AWS
  • Experience working with transaction processing systems, web applications, mobile applications, and interactive Voice Response systems
