Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your ability to multitask and maintain a clean workspace will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all orders are processed efficiently.
  • Assist with food service as needed, including taking food orders and serving meals to customers.
  • Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
  • Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and new products to effectively assist customers.

Skills

  • Proven experience in bartending or related roles within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
  • Familiarity with cashiering practices and handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
  • Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
  • Basic math skills for calculating tabs and managing cash flow effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
