Our small, indoor doggy daycare is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our small team

This is a hands-on role for someone who truly enjoys caring for dogs and making their days safe, fun, and enriching.

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves):

  • A genuine love for dogs and animal care
  • Previous experience working with dogs (professional, volunteer, or personal experience welcomed)
  • Basic understanding about dog behaviour or body language
  • Ability to be physically active throughout the day (standing, walking, lifting dogs, cleaning, and supervising play)
  • Confidence handling dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels
  • Dependable, patient, and attentive to detail
  • Physically capable and quick on feet (able to lift 15 lbs at a min)
  • Capable of handling stressful situations and at time loud enviroments

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and engaging dogs during indoor playtime
  • Ensuring a safe, clean, and positive environment for all dogs
  • Monitoring dog behaviour and responding appropriately
  • Cleaning and sanitizing play areas, kennels, and equipment
  • Providing basic care such as feeding, watering, and comfort
  • Administering medications
  • Performing walks
  • Communicating clearly with team members about dog behavior and needs

Nice to Have (But Not Required):

  • Pet first aid or CPR certification
  • Experience in dog daycare, boarding, grooming, or veterinary settings
