We are looking for new team members to to join our team as **Dog Hiker / Canine Caregiver** We are looking to hire full time and part time experienced dog caregivers who are dedicated, passionate and able to grow with our company through our exciting expansion

**About you**:

- **Required**:valid class 5 driver’s license with clean driving records, comfortable driving in all conditions.
- Previous professional dog care experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of dog behavior and body language is a strong asset. You will also be passionate and motivated to continue learning about dogs.
- Sensitivity towards animals and above average work ethic.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Comfortable and motivated to work outdoors in all conditions.
- Comfortable working in a team, empathic and eager to help and support your team mates.

**About the position**:

- Part time or Full time
- Starting salary: $19.00 per hour.
- Initial and ongoing training will be provided to ensure your skills are topped up.
- This position is to cover working Outdoor adventure park, indoor dog daycare, retail store and boarding facility.
- _**Main tasks**:_ caring for the dogs and ensuring everyone has a safe and fun time, as well as providing feedback to clients and other team members. Monitoring play and behavior, cleaning and giving great service to our clients. The Dog hiker position involves driving a large vehicle to transport the dogs from our Indoor day camp in Victoria or their own homes, to the Outdoor Adventure Camp.
- You will be working as part of a close team as well as independently.
