Seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in boho and modern, dried/preserved and artificial floral arrangements and a keen eye for design. You do not need to be a Florist, however this role involves creating beautiful floral displays for various occasions, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of our floral projects and events. The Floral Designer will also assist with events delivery, set up, take down, installation and designing.

This position is not only in Barrie, we have events throughout the GTA , Vaughan, Simcoe County and area.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
  • Maintaining the appearance of the our brand by organizing displays and ensuring all products are in the best conditions.
  • Drive and have a G license to arrive to event set up and locations
  • Must be punctual, professional and respectful.
  • Must have own business insurance and credentials as this is Freelance/Contractor opportunity when occasions arise.

Experience

  • Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English; be communicative, clear and precise.
  • Candidates should possess a passion for flowers, creativity in design, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences.
  • Be punctual and professional at all time.
  • Must be flexible for schedules.
  • Be energetic and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Be physically able to stand, stretch, reach, bend and crouch
  • Be able to follow directives and instruction.
  • must be available to work mornings to late nights at times.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
