Role Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Winnipeg facility. This role ensures efficient handling of materials, inventory control, and on-time support to our production and service teams. You'll lead a small team and be responsible for maintaining safety standards, coordinating logistics, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, space management, and shipping
  • Optimize the picking process for filling out the production work stations
  • Process and document transactions and reports timely and accurately (cycle counts, inventory, safety incidents, damaged product, etc.)
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and schedule general maintenance
  • Support logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities
  • Assist in the Quality Assurance Inspection process of incoming goods to ensure compliance of company standards
  • Apply LEAN tools and implement continuous improvement processes
  • Monitor interior and exterior areas of building for cleanliness and general conservation
  • Order and control inventory levels on warehouse supplies

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse role leading hourly employees
  • Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) in logistics or supply chain management
  • Recent experience operating a forklift
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to operate hand and power equipment for material handling to accommodate storage of products throughout the warehouse.
  • Vendor management experience is an asset
  • Assist with material handling at the warehouse including lifting up to 50 lbs.
