The Warehouse Team Leader plays a key role in ensuring orders are prepared, shipped, and received accurately and on time. You'll work closely with your team, support the supervisor, and step in as acting supervisor when required.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll not only guide your team but also participate in daily warehouse operations such as driving forklifts, preparing orders, shipping tiles, and maintaining inventory.

We're looking for someone who is organized, customer-focused, physically fit, and a natural leader.

What You'll Do

  • Support the supervisor in daily warehouse operations.
  • Replace the supervisor when required.
  • Coordinate with co-workers to ensure smooth shift transitions.
  • Operate forklifts safely to move pallets.
  • Prepare and receive customer orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Use RF handheld scanners for order processing.
  • Help maintain accurate inventory and correct discrepancies.
  • Welcome and assist customers respectfully.
  • Promote and follow all health & safety practices.
  • Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment.
  • Uphold company and HR policies consistently.

Education & Certification

  • High school diploma (required).
  • Forklift certification (required).
  • First Aid certification (asset).

Experience

  • 1–2 years in a warehouse role (clerk, forklift operator, etc.).
  • 1–2 years in a leadership capacity (team leader, shift lead, supervisor).
  • Experience in logistics, distribution, or transportation is an asset.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and teamwork.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage stress and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • Physically fit and safety-conscious.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and resourceful.
