Role: Residential HVAC Sales Advisor

We are looking for a full-time Residential HVAC Sales Advisor to join our team in Toronto, ON and support our growing volume of homeowner inquiries. This role focuses on helping customers choose the right equipment and installation package for their home.

You will work with warm leads generated from our online presence, referrals, and existing customers. Your job is to listen, assess comfort and efficiency needs, design system options, and guide homeowners through to an approved proposal and scheduled installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads from phone, web forms, and existing customers

  • Conduct virtual and in-home consultations to understand customer needs and site conditions

  • Recommend appropriate HVAC solutions, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and accessories

  • Prepare clear, professional quotes and present good/better/best options

  • Explain equipment features, rebates, warranties, and financing in simple terms

  • Follow up with prospects, handle objections, and close sales in a consultative, non-pushy way

  • Work closely with our installation and service teams to ensure a smooth handoff and excellent customer experience

  • Maintain accurate notes, pipeline updates, and follow-ups in our CRM or sales tools

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust quickly

  • Experience in residential HVAC, home services, or construction sales is a strong asset

  • Basic understanding of furnaces, air conditioners, and/or heat pumps, or a willingness to learn quickly

  • Comfort explaining technical concepts in a simple, homeowner-friendly way

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage your own pipeline and follow-ups

  • Able to work some evenings or Saturdays to meet homeowners on their schedule

  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for in-home visits

  • Any HVAC, building science, or energy-related training is an advantage, but not mandatory
