Designer - Architectural Solutions

THE ROLE

We believe in the power of diversity and the
power of teamwork. We need both collaborative and individual responsibility to
organize effectively around our customer's problems.

This is a full-time position, working out of our impeccably designed and furnished office in Calgary. You'll mostly work from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with irregular or extended hours as projects demand.

We are looking for a DIRTT Designer to join our COI Team. A DIRTT
Designer is part artist, part visionary, part engineer and part computer tech
wizard - all rolled into one. Our designers are driven, optimistic, and
committed to outstanding customer satisfaction. Our DIRTT Designer is responsible in playing a big role in taking
our clients needs and ideas from concept to realization. The Designer, using
their knowledge, artistic abilities, and innovative design tools, will assist
our clients in creating better and sustainable solutions.

  • Provide clients with an innovative and unique experience from initial meeting to final walkthrough.
  • Create inspiring spaces and solutions that will wow all stakeholders.
  • Understand the scope of work on site and keep up to date with all project details.
  • Design client projects using ICE software, populating the DIRTT space from scratch or from a predesigned AutoCAD plan.
  • Translate 2D plans into 3D renderings and/or Virtual Reality walkthroughs.
  • Work with clients, sales teams, project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other designers to help bring the project to life.
  • Review all production information and drawings for accuracy.
  • Organize and submit orders in conjunction with the project manager.

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer competitive health benefits, wellness and healthcare spending accounts, and a holiday package that includes the week between Christmas and New Year's off. You'll also be getting in as we grow so growth opportunities abound if you exhibit the knowledge, expertise, and passion to grow with the organization.

The role offers the ability to work both independently and with a
dynamic team of people. We pride ourselves on our corporate culture and work
each day to live our values.

AND YOU HAVE

  • Related post-secondary diploma/associate degree in interior design or a related discipline is required.
  • Professional or industry specific designation(s), licenses, and/or certificates such as WELL, NCIDQ, ARIDO are considered assets.
