Duties
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Collaborate with dental specialists for complex cases or referrals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Dentrix
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed dentist
- Proficient in performing pediatric dentistry procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dental procedures and conditions
- Experience working in a dental office setting, including knowledge of dental office management systems such as Dentrix or similar software
- Ability to use CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry is a plus
