The Quality Control Administrator position will provide oversight of all aspects of our quality assurance program and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of quality assurance and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems
  • Ensure adherence of company's General Policies and Procedures Manual as well as Canadian Standards Association for jet fuel operations at Aerodome Facilities. (Latest Version of CSA B836:22). Stay up to date on any procedural changes to the standard and communicate those changes effectively.
  • Assist with audits to assess compliance with quality standards. Ensure audit findings and observations are addressed in a timely manner
  • Prepare reports on quality issues and present findings to management
  • Attend weekly operations meeting and be prepared to discuss quality issues that may need attention or continuous improvement suggestions
  • Ensuring the accuracy of quality control records, inspection forms, and conducting periodic inspections of equipment, facilities, and documents for all departments.
  • Assist with workplace orientation training for new hires as it pertains to our quality control platform procedures and company expectations
  • Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
  • Assist managers with airline audits and paperwork
  • Monitor supplier performance and take appropriate action to ensure quality of materials
  • Maintain records of quality assurance activities
  • Assist in the development of quality plans and projects
  • Assist with root cause analysis of quality issues and develop corrective action plans
  • Completing any additional duties assigned by the immediate managers
  • Perform safety audits as required by management

Requirements:

  • Able to accurately and timely complete daily reporting and administrative requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems an asset
  • A background in refueling aircraft would be considered an asset
  • A background in quality control of jet fuel would be considered an asset
  • Successfully pass a background check and attain a Restricted Area Identification Card and Airside Vehicle Operators Permit
