Role Overview

We're looking for a part-time Retail Sales Associate for our South location who can deliver an elevated in-store experience, support day-to-day operations, and help grow our community of makers, hobbyists, and professionals. This role is ideal for someone who's customer-obsessed, tech-curious, and comfortable in a fast-moving retail environment.

Availability on Tuesday (4-7), Thursday (4-7), Saturday is required. Additional shifts may be available based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

  • Greet customers, assess needs, and provide product recommendations.
  • Deliver clear, confident explanations of products, features, and services.
  • Support customers with basic troubleshooting and "how-to" questions.

Sales & Product Support

  • Drive sales by identifying customer needs and offering relevant solutions.
  • Upsell complementary products (filament, accessories, upgrades, add-ons).
  • Stay current on product lines, new arrivals, and promotions.

Store Operations

  • Execute daily opening/closing routines as directed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised sales floor.
  • Restock shelves, manage back stock, and support basic inventory counts.
  • Operate POS systems accurately for sales, returns, and exchanges.

Brand & Community

  • Represent the brand professionally and consistently.
  • Engage with local makers, hobbyists, educators, and professionals in-store.
  • Provide feedback from customers to the team to improve products and services.

Qualifications

  • Prior retail, customer service, or sales experience is an asset, but not strictly required.
  • Comfortable talking to customers, asking questions, and offering solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and POS use.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently work Tuesday (4-7), Thursday (4-7), Saturday
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~30–40 lbs as needed (stock, boxes, etc.).
  • Tech-friendly mindset; willing to learn about 3D printers, materials, and related products (training provided).

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time role: Approximately 15-25 hours per week (depending on business needs).
  • Required days: Tuesday (4-7), Thursday (4-7), Saturday core availability).
  • May include daytime, evening, and occasional extended hours during peak periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
