Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks following established recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions
  • Take customer orders with professionalism and enthusiasm, ensuring a positive experience
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food handling and food safety practices
  • Assist in food preparation and serving snacks or light food items as needed
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
  • Handle cashing out customers accurately using basic math skills
  • Follow food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Restock supplies and maintain equipment to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

  • Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately using basic math skills
  • Experience in food preparation, serving, and food safety standards
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Food handling certification or willingness to obtain necessary certifications prior to employment is desirable
