Job description

Nordic Energy is seeking an experienced local Class 1 Tank Truck - Tri Quad - Super B - 7 Axle - Operator to join our team for local production work. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting oilfield fluids, including water, oil, and other related materials, between well sites and disposal facilities. This role requires adherence to strict safety protocols, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering top-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and drive tank trucks to transport oilfield fluids.
  • Ensure all loads are secured, transported, and delivered as per client and company standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any issues to maintenance.
  • Monitor fluid levels and ensure safe and accurate delivery.
  • Load and unload fluids in compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and paperwork, including hours of service and delivery records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and field personnel regarding delivery status.
  • Follow all safety regulations and work in compliance with Alberta Transportation and company policies.
  • Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of trucks and equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
  • Minimum of 3 years of fluid Experience.
  • Fluid hauling experience
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and TDG.
  • First aid and H2S tickets
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, with flexibility for day and night shifts.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy lifting and extended hours on the road.

Experience:

  • Fluid Hauling TDG Experience Driving: 3 years (required)
  • Fluid Hauling: 1 year (preferred)
  • Remote Oilfield Road Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 1 Driver Licence (required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
