Class 1 Truck Driver

**WAGE**:$36.00 - $45.00 per Hour**

**YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE**:
Reporting to the Transportation & Fleet Manager, the Class 1 Truck Driver is expected to deliver and/or move equipment, matting, materials, etc. to specific locations throughout Canada, while adhering to rules, regulations and safe work practices and procedures.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES & IMPACT**:

- General maintenance and hauling or Paradox products off-road and/or on-road.
- Proper maintenance of the Hours-of-Service Logbook.
- Proper documentation of pre-and-post trip inspections.
- Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted daily.
- Ensure all logbooks follow policies and regulations.
- Ensure loads are measured for height, weight, width, length, and overhang to ensure compliance regulations and permits.
- Maintain all slings and lifting cables.
- Ensure cargo is secure for transportation.
- Ensure all required safety equipment is in the unit prior to starting a job.
- Keep units clean at all times.
- Advise dispatch of any hazards.
- Wear proper personal protective equipment on job sites.
- Check to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- A valid Class 1 Driver's License.
- A clean Commercial Driver's Abstract.
- 2 years or more of oil field haling experience would be considered and asset.
- Super B and/or Winch experience.
- H2S, CSTS, WHMIS and Standard First Aid tickets.
- Mechanically inclined and able to diagnose basic issues with the truck.
- Able to take direction effectively and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test for pre-employment and pre-site access.
- The ability to operate heavy equipment would be considered an asset
