This role involves transporting and handling items efficiently and safely, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, along with strong communication skills and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, and transport items using appropriate moving equipment and vehicles
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as needed
  • Assist customers with their moving needs, providing professional and courteous service
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate schedules and address any issues
  • Conduct safety inspections of vehicles and equipment before each use
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and work area
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move furniture, boxes, or other large items
  • Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in moving, warehouse work, or commercial driving preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate forklifts or willingness to be trained on their use
  • Strong physical strength with the ability to lift heavy items regularly
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation to work location(s)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
