Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable residential/commercial Mover to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with their moving needs, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of belongings, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting, possess strong communication skills, and have experience working in warehouse or commercial driving environments. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where teamwork and professionalism are valued.
Duties
- Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items using proper lifting techniques.
- Operate forklifts and other moving equipment as needed to facilitate the transportation of goods.
- Assist clients with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings during moves.
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport items between locations while adhering to safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and storage areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving projects.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home/office moving, warehouse work, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude.
- Reliable transportation to reach job sites as required.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $15.80-$19.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
