Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized
IT Asset Analyst
to support the full lifecycle of IT hardware assets, including tagging, inventory control, packing and shipping, data entry, and asset reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with
ServiceNow or SAP
to maintain accurate asset records, update hardware information, track serial numbers, and support recycling and disposal processes.

This role requires strong data accuracy, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management & Processing

  • Tag, label, and register new IT hardware assets (laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, etc.).
  • Pack, ship, and receive IT equipment, ensuring accurate documentation and safe handling.
  • Maintain the asset inventory room, ensuring all equipment is organized and properly tracked.
  • Process hardware returns, swaps, and recycling according to company policies.

Data & Record Management

  • Enter and update hardware asset records in
    ServiceNow or SAP
    , including serial numbers, models, locations, owners, and lifecycle status.
  • Ensure accurate and timely logging of asset assignments, transfers, disposals, and refresh activity.
  • Reconcile asset lists against physical inventory; identify discrepancies and correct data.
  • Generate reports on asset usage, lifecycle stages, inventory levels, and compliance metrics.
  • Coordinate asset deployments for new hires, refresh cycles, and equipment replacements.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT asset management, logistics, inventory, or similar operations role.
  • Required:
    Hands-on experience using
    ServiceNow or SAP
    for asset tracking and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling serial numbers, records, and system updates.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
  • Experience with asset lifecycle processes, hardware recycling, and equipment deployment is an asset.
