Are you an organized, hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic event environments? Express Heat Therapy is seeking an Event Operations Manager to oversee the smooth execution of our events across Canada. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, solving problems on the fly, and ensuring every event runs at peak performance — all while benefiting from a flexible schedule, growth opportunities, and a strong commission structure.
Position Details
Estimated Compensation: $80,000+ annually (based on a 10-month event schedule; December & May off)
Schedule: Primarily weekend-focused with several multi-day (10–18 day) events throughout the year
Travel: Required for out-of-town events across Canada (e.g., Ottawa, Alberta, etc.)
Key Objectives
- Deliver event success and revenue growth: Lead your team to achieve or exceed sales and performance targets.
- Execute event strategies: Implement operational workflows and sales initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Develop and support a high-performing team: Coach team members, promote accountability, and foster a motivated, results-driven culture.
- Create an engaging, positive environment: Ensure staff are energized and equipped to meet their individual goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations for all event sites.
- Lead, schedule, and manage a team of 6–8 event sales representatives.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer service escalations during events.
- Coordinate event logistics, including travel, accommodations, and onsite operations for out-of-town shows.
- Set up and tear down event booths, ensuring professional presentation and operational readiness.
- Track event inventory and daily performance metrics.
- Submit accurate end-of-day and post-event reports.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and service in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.

Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced management role (e.g., retail, hospitality, or similar).
- Sales experience is an asset but not mandatory.
