Job Overview:
The Rental Tool Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the delivery, pickup, and scheduling of rental tools for NTS customers. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of equipment while upholding the highest standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and assign deliveries, pickups and transfers of rental tools based on customer needs and availability.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between NTS Amega West and its customers, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Confirm orders, resolve issues, and provide updates on tool availability.
  • Track tool inventory, monitor usage and ensure proper documentation of tool check-in / check-out.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, rental agreements and tool maintenance logs.
  • Plan for materials as per customer needs and communicate to purchasing.


Requirements:
  • Understanding of API Rotary Connections
  • DS1 knowledge an asset
  • Certification in forklift operation and skid steer experience required
  • Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions loading and unloading tubulars on trucks
  • High School graduate or GED certification
  • 2-3 years of related experience, in Oil and Gas/Downhole tools is an asset.
  • Must be available and responsive during designated on-call periods as scheduled by management.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficient in essential computer programs for daily operations, including Outlook 365
  • Understanding supply management and inventory practices.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with sound judgment.
