A cashier cook's responsibilities include:

Customer service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing information about food and drinks

Food preparation: Preparing food and drinks, including kebabs, Biryani, wraps etc.

Cash register: Operating the cash register or point of sale system to process payments

Cleaning: Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, work areas, counters, and tables

Order management: Assembling and managing dine-in, take-out, and delivery orders

Communication: Communicating effectively with staff and managers

Operating kitchen equipment and perform general cleaning/maintenance (equipment includes, but is not

limited to: Rational ovens, fryers, coolers, freezers and tandoor).

⁠ ⁠Follow all company and state guidelines regarding food preparation/safety.

⁠ ⁠Take time/temperature readings at appropriate times and log as directed by manager.

⁠ ⁠Maintain neat and clean appearance in all check out areas as well as areas where food is prepared, sold,

and/or stored.

⁠ ⁠Keep all merchandise stocked, rotated, and/or date marked.

⁠ ⁠Clean inside the store: windows/cooler doors, counters, floors, aisles, and empty trash cans.

⁠ ⁠Inform direct supervisor of all relevant departmental issues in a timely manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Cooking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
