Job Description: The Nursing Supervisor is a key leader at Radville Marion Health Centre (RMHC) and is responsible for assisting the Director during the day shift, Monday to Friday, in assessing, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating clinical and non-clinical situations as they pertain to the operations of the facility within the Mission, Vision and Values of Emmanuel Health (EH) and RMHC. Shift work may be required only to maintain minimum professional nursing coverage. The Nursing Supervisor demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a resident‐centric culture. The Nursing Supervisor must work cross functionally within the facility to support operations and with community partners to support holistic, spiritual, psychological, physical and emotional well-being of patients, residents and clients.

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years recent related nursing experience is required

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Memberships

• College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

Knowledge and Abilities

• Participates in continuous quality improvement activities
• Demonstrated knowledge of best practices.
• Knowledge of current trends, issues and persepectives of nursing in OH&S
