Job Description:

We are seeking a 4th Year to Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. This role will involve working on a variety of projects, including custom home new builds, home renovations, and occasional commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in custom homes, residential renovations, and commercial properties.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical code specifications.
  • Run wiring, install electrical panels, outlets, switches, and lighting systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with contractors, builders, and other tradespeople on job sites.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with the training of apprentices and less experienced staff.

Qualifications:

  • Valid electrical license (4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
  • Experience with custom home builds and renovations is a strong asset.
  • Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Residential electrical experience.
  • Commercial electrical experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with smart home systems
