Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our packaging team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. In this role the Production Associate will be responsible for operating production machinery, repeatedly lifting 55lb bags, and ensuring that all products meet our quality standards. The position is crucial to our production process and will contribute significantly to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Shift 6am - 3pm
Responsibilities
Operating production equipment effectively to maintain productivity
Interacting positively with customers
Safely operating a forklift in accordance with our safety protocols
Lifting / moving 55lb feed bags as needed
Stack and prepare finished products for shipment while adhering to our quality control standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise and to identify ways to improve our current processes.
Requirements
Ability to lift repeatedly 55lb feed bags
Capable of working in temperatures that may vary, including heat and cold
Ability to function in an environment with possible allergens such as peanuts other nuts and dust
Ability to thrive independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
