The Director of Data Architecture will lead the design and execution of the enterprise data strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence. This role will oversee data warehousing, integration, governance, and architecture standards across the organization, with a strong focus on leveraging modern cloud technologies. Experience with Snowflake and other cloud-based platforms is highly desirable.

This role will be essential in ensuring the company's centralized data tables are architected for accuracy, scalability, and long-term growth. The Director will also lead the design and implementation of new data feeds that integrate core enterprise platforms - including Workday, SAGE, HubSpot, Ironclad, and ServiceNow - enabling seamless data flow and reliable reporting and analytics across the organization Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with business objectives and future-state architecture.
  • Design and maintain enterprise data architecture, including data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks.
  • Lead the development and optimization of data warehousing solutions, ensuring scalability and performance for analytics and reporting.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and Business teams to enable data-driven decision-making through robust architecture and best practices.
  • Oversee data migration and transformation initiatives, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, including metadata management, data quality, and security standards.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake experience strongly preferred) and modern ETL/ELT tools.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in data strategy, modeling, and warehousing.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and modern data integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures and real-time data processing.
  • Knowledge of financial and operational data domains is a plus.
