Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient data solutions using Snowflake's Cloud Data Platform. You will work closely with various teams to understand their data needs and translate them into robust, efficient, scalable, and secure data solutions. Your expertise in Snowflake architecture, data warehousing, and data modeling will be crucial in driving our data strategy and ensuring the optimal performance of our data systems.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data architectures using Snowflake to meet business requirements.

Develop and manage Snowflake solutions, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data strategies.

Ensure data security, data governance, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Required Skills

DATA ARCHITECTURE: The candidate must have a strong understanding of data architecture principles, methods, and techniques. They should be able to design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements and align with company strategy.

Snowflake: The candidate must have hands-on experience with Snowflake. They should be able to design, develop, and manage Snowflake solutions to meet business needs.

Solution Architecture: The candidate must have experience in solution architecture. They should be able to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and align with company strategy.

The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Preferred Skills

Data Strategy: Experience in developing and implementing data strategies.

Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing principles and best practices.

ETL: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

SQL: Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language).

Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling principles and techniques.

Big Data: Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, etc.

Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and practices.

Data Security: Knowledge of data security principles and best practices.

Project Management: Experience in managing projects and leading teams.

Required Experience

Between 8 to 12 Years

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $53.72-$70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
