We have expertise in water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations and reservoirs, linear infrastructure for collection and distribution and of course water resources planning. P.Eng. - applicant must be registered with EGBC or eligible to transfer membership to EGBC.Strong skills in water, wastewater and stormwater.Progressively responsible experience in water and wastewater design, tendering, and construction.Experience in Project Management with desirable experience (i.e. chairing meetings, project oversight, managing budget oversight, etc.).Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D (for the purposes of reviewing, checking designs).Experience with standards/guidelines related to water resources.Strong oral and written communication skills.Bonus points for:PMP Designation.Municipal Transportation Experience.Experience working on Vancouver Island.Familiarity or interest in Integrated Project DeliveryA Little More About the RoleAs a valued member of the leadership team based out of Victoria BC, we look forward to you making the following contributions:Leading and implementing strategic business development plans, contributing insights and helping to monitor the client pipeline.Maintaining client relationships, providing input on evolving client needs and contributing to the retention efforts.Leading the coordination and preparation of proposals, providing key input on project resourcing and skill requirements.Ensuring that project resourcing is aligned with strategic goals, facilitating effective cross-office collaboration and resource allocation.Overseeing project documentation standards within the team, ensuring consistency and accuracy while respecting regional differences.Leading cost estimation efforts, and take responsibility for managing scope changes in projects.Leading projects, ensuring quality delivery within budget and timeline constraints, and provide support on larger projects as needed.Completing peer reviews to ensure quality deliverables.Providing day-to-day leadership and support to staff, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with organizational goals.Actively mentoring staff by providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Conduct regular check-ins with team members to monitor performance, provide feedback, and support their professional development.Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the team.Fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes work-life balance, team cohesion, and ongoing improvement.
