Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for driving insights through data analysis, supporting pricing and quoting strategies, maintaining accurate sales and supply chain records, and optimizing marketing and communication efforts. This role serves as a cross-functional resource, supporting Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Purchasing by transforming data into actionable strategies that improve performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency

Responsibilities

Marketing Analytics & Digital Presence

  • Analyze historical market and sales data to identify trends, customer behaviour, and growth opportunities.
  • Track campaign effectiveness and provide regular performance reports to Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Research and recommend digital media advertising and promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  • Maintain and update company websites and register company profiles across industry related platforms and directories.

Customer & Sales Reporting

  • Manage and maintain customer database records, including updates, removal of duplicates, and data quality checks.
  • Generate and distribute sales team performance reports (MTD, QTD, YTD) and assist in customer-specific reporting.
  • Monitor and report competitive activity and industry movements. Support inside and outside sales teams with lead time, pricing, and cost-related inquiries.
  • Maintain & implement CRM workflow processes & auto emails.

Procurement & Data Coordination

  • Support the creation and release of accurate project quotations for Special, Hybrid, Solar, and other projects.
  • Communicate directly with customers for quote clarification and updates.
  • Develop pricing worksheets that factor in components, tooling, freight, labour, and margin targets.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Production to calculate labour and tooling requirements.
  • Provide technical and cost-related data to sourcing for accurate cost modelling.
  • Maintain and update parts master data, including supplier stock codes, tariff codes, and cost entries.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing, sales operations, or data analysis rol
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with R or Python for statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database design principles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems and CRM platforms.
  • Understanding of digital marketing tools, metrics, and campaign reporting.
  • Comfortable communicating across departments, including Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Management.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of industrial products and project-based quoting is an asset.
