Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order entry and cash handling
  • Manage customer transactions efficiently while providing friendly service
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
  • Assist in food handling and storage to comply with health regulations
  • Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues professionally

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
