Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained, supporting a clean and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role is vital in upholding our company's standards for cleanliness and facility upkeep.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of floors, carpets, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, and fixtures to ensure a tidy appearance
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break rooms
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers and ensure proper waste management procedures are followed
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
  • Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep
  • Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably in commercial or industrial settings
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
  • Good organizational skills to manage supplies and maintain a clean workspace
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Basic understanding of facilities maintenance is a plus
