Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role you will diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability for our customers and operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on heavy-duty equipment
· Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs
· Repair and service engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering and hydraulics
· Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagnostic tools
· Maintain accurate service records and work orders
· Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards
· Communicate clearly with supervisors and customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Qualifications & Skills
· Heavy Equipment & Truck and Transport certification (Level 2+ preferred)
· Experience working with Heavy-Duty equipment
· Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
· Experience with diagnostic software and tools
· Valid Saskatchewan driver's licence
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Requirements
· Heavy lifting
· Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
· Ability to stand, kneel and work in confined spaces
· Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment, following safety policies
· Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends during seeding and harvest
