Zimmer Air Services Inc. is looking to hire a fulltime bookeeper with Sage and QBO experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and file HST returns accurately and on time, staying up-to-date with current regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closings.
- Generate detailed financial reports and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders including auditors and tax authorities.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with QBO accounting software.
- Strong understanding of HST regulations and filing procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly.
- Experience with financial audits and compliance reporting.
