We are currently hiring experienced caregivers in the North Vancouver area.

The shifts would involve a combination of personal care and companionship.

We have shifts available for an immediate start for the right applicant.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship includes conversation, medical appointment, shopping/ grocery and client activities
  • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • To provide physical, emotional, comfort and safety to the clients
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner
  • Personal care (assistance with bathing, dressing/grooming or using the bathroom

Job Requirements:

  • Passionate about providing care for seniors
  • Ability to communicate effectively schedule changes or conflicting commitments
  • Commitment to punctuality and timeliness is required
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations
  • Must be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident and highly sociable.
  • Must feel confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversation.
  • English proficiency, ability to engage in conversation
  • Criminal Record Check.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Professional references including telephone numbers.
  • Driving with valid driver's license required (Paid mileage if used for client 's needs)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
