Role and Responsibilities

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will design, develop and manage automated testing frameworks that safeguard the quality and reliability of our software products. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining automated test suites using TestIM
  • Designing and executing API tests with Postman
  • Integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
  • Logging and tracking bugs using JIRA
  • Documenting and updating test documentation in Confluence
  • Enhancing and optimizing test frameworks using C# or Python
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Product and Development teams in Agile environments

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on QA automation experience
  • Proven track record of building or maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
  • Proven ability to optimize and scale automation suites—handling test stability, parallel execution, distributed execution, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Clear communication—able to explain technical issues to developers, QA peers, and business stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Tricentis Test management, TestIM automation and Jira
  • Practical experience with API testing tools (e.g. Postman)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, and DevOps practices
  • Experience testing web, mobile, and cloud-based applications
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with strong critical thinking skills
  • Adaptability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Dotcom Monitor)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google cloud)
