Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated live in Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individual in calgary.The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, senior care, or home care environments, and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care. This role involves working closely with patients, residents, and their families to deliver personalized care with professionalism and empathy.

Duties

  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being

Requirements

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
  • Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
  • Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
  • Certification or training in medication administration is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required
  • Must pass background checks and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Valid driver's license may be required for certain roles involving transportation or home visits
