Shop/Warehouse Worker

The purpose of the shop is to get everything ready for installation.

Your goal will be to help with everything we do in the shop and to prep the doors for the installers. you will cut windows into door panels, assemble track and hardware and move things around the shop with the forklift. You'll be learning the ins and outs of how the doors are prepped and built. You will deliver and pick up parts as needed.

The Specifics

This full-time job works out of our shop in Surrey. We have work year-round, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 to 4:00. There are options to work overtime when orders allow for it, and we are usually not affected by seasonal layoffs. Along with your wage of $23 per hour commensurate with experience, we have a great medical and dental plan. Depending on your performance, there are many opportunities for growth and advancement in the future as well.

Who We're Looking For

If you're motivated, hard-working and a quick learner, most of what you'll be doing can be learned on the job. Here are some of the other things that will help:

  • Experience working in a shop (an asset)
  • Experience working with anything mechanical (an asset)
  • A valid driver's license and clean drivers abstract is a MUST.
  • Ability to handle periods of physical manual labour
