We are currently seeking a reliable and efficient housekeeper/breakfast helper to join our team at our boutique bed and breakfast, The Lady Macdonald Country Inn in Canmore. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy environment for our guests, ensuring that their stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. This is a full-time or part-time position, depending on the availability of the candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
  • Clean common areas such as the dining room and lounge
  • Wash, dry, and fold laundry as needed
  • Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens
  • Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to the management team

As a Breakfast Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a delightful and satisfying breakfast experience. You will assist in the preparation and service of breakfast, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests, taking their orders and providing recommendations when necessary.
  • Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee, tea, and juices.
  • Ensure all breakfast items are replenished in a timely manner to meet guest demand.
  • Clear and clean tables promptly, ensuring a tidy and organized dining area.
  • Attend to guest requests and provide excellent customer service throughout their breakfast experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospitality environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays, as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
