Role Summary:
The Pricing & Rebate Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance of accurate customer pricing in ERP and be the main point of contact for customer pricing discrepancy resolution, execute customer rebates and credits, provide pricing analytics to support commercial efforts and support the commercial excellence team in both the RFP and contracts functions.
Main Job Responsibilities:
Work within ERP to ensure approved customer pricing is uploaded accurately, efficiently and in accordance with customer proposal/contract terms and conditions
Upload customer pricing for new proposals/contracts and contract/pricing extensions in collaboration with Contracts Specialist
Manage all customer pricing discrepancy order errors and execute resolutions for future orders in collaboration with Customers Excellence and Sales
In collaboration with Finance and Contracts Specialist, manage, calculate, and execute customer rebates and credits in accordance with customer contracts terms and conditions
Support pricing expiry & renewal process
Manage and maintain customer contract database and price lists
Establish technical proficiency in the use of quoting system, Bullseye, and provide technical support for Sales, Marketing and Customer Excellence
In collaboration with Commercial Leadership team, proactively determine pricing reporting/analytics needs and establish reporting cadence as required
In collaboration with Team lead own annual updates and continuous improvement of pricing and rebates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Provide customer pricing reporting and analytics as requested
Support the implementation of customer contracts as requested
In collaboration with the Contract Specialist, provide support for contract-related requests and inbox monitoring
Support RFP/RFI/RFQ response process as CORE team member as required and providing pricing response support
Other duties as assigned by manager and Team Lead

Greater Toronto Area (West End off Major 401 Exit)

Requirements:
University Degree (BA in business, finance or preferred)
Medical background or experience an asset
Experience working in a Contracts, Pricing, or Finance function
3+ years medical device pricing and/or contract experience
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word
Strong proficiency in Excel including V-look ups, formulas and pivot table
Experience working in Oracle
Bilingualism (French/English) both written and oral is an asset
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate the execution of a project across multiple functions
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Highly organized and detail oriented
High energy level with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
Ability to build relationships across multiple business functions and external customers
